Dmitry Antipov


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 2008. He has solid experience in direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation gained in foreign and Russian companies, such as Summa Capital, Vneshtorgbank (VTB), Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche. His clients and investments were companies from telecommunications and media, oil and gas, electric power industry, metals and mining, and food industries in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Netherlands, India, and United Arab Emirates. Dmitry graduated with highest distinction from the Economics department and Applied Mathematics department of Moscow State University (2001). He also received an MBA at Stanford University (2007) and holds a Ph.D. degree in economics from Moscow State University (2004).

Yuri Didenko


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 1999. He has worked on the implementation of BVCP’s investment projects in various industries in Russia and Ukraine. Before joining Baring Vostok, Yuri Didenko headed the Securities Trading Department at ING Bank Ukraine and was a securities dealer for ING Bank Eurasia in Moscow. He is Certified Financial Analyst.

Alexander Drozdkov


has worked in the company since the NIS Fund was first founded in 1994. He has been managing projects in the forestry, mining, oil and gas, and transportation sectors. From 1992 until 1994, Alexander worked at the Russian Bank for Project Financing (a subsidiary of the EBRD) as an investment specialist. From 1986 until 1992 he worked in the Department of Project Financing and Joint Enterprise at the USSR’s Vnseheconombank, where he focused on investment credit. In 1991, Alexander completed a year-long internship at the UK investment bank Morgan Grenfell.

Bo Ivanovic


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 2008 as Investment Director, having worked as CFO of Gallery Media Group (a Fund III portfolio company). Before joining Gallery, Bo worked for Millennium Private Equity, a venture sponsored by Dubai World/Istithmar and Dubai Islamic Bank. Prior to moving to Dubai, he was a Principal Banker at the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, in the telecoms, informatics and media banking team. Before that he worked as an investment analyst at Regency Capital, a London-based investment boutique that supported Nomura AIG's proprietary investment activities, and as a credit analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York.

Dmitry Kamensky


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 2006 as a research analyst focusing on industry research, screening of new investment opportunities and portfolio valuation analysis. In 2009, he became an investment manager at BVCP and started to be more involved in investment projects in various industries and portfolio company management. Previous Dmitry’s experience includes work at Deloitte in 2003-2004, where he was engaged in audit projects for companies in different industries. In 2005-2006, he also worked as a freelance writer on financial and economic topics. Dmitry graduated with the highest distinction BSc degree from the Economics department of Moscow State University in 2003. In 2004, he was admitted to Manchester Business School and graduated in 2005 with MSc degree in Finance.

Anna Kozina


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 2002. Prior to this, she worked in Moscow at Bain & Company where she was engaged in privatization projects. Prior to that she was an investment manager at Alfa Capital and was responsible for the development and implementation of project exit strategies. Anna has also worked in the European Division of Ford where she was responsible for business development projects in the UK and Germany. Anna graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Management with a degree in Industrial Engineering and earned an MBA at the London School of Business. 

Konstantin Smirnov


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 2007. From 1996 until 2001 Konstantin worked for BVCP first as a research analyst focusing on the First NIS Fund’s listed securities portfolio, then as an investment manager working on various private equity investments. Prior to BVCP, Konstantin worked at Price Waterhouse in Moscow for two years in the corporate finance department. Konstantin left BVCP in 2001 to attend business school at Columbia University, where he received an MBA in 2003. Since graduation, he worked in New York for Millennium Partners, a large multi-strategy hedge fund, focusing primarily on global investments in commodity, resource, and infrastructure-based companies. Konstantin holds MS in math from the Moscow State University and is a CFA charterholder

Alexander Tyapin


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 2000. He is responsible for the company’s projects in the Russian Far East. Before coming to Baring Vostok Alexander worked at Alfa Bank, where from 1996 to 2000 he served as Head of Department for Project Management, participating in projects in the tobacco, glass, food and electronics industries. Prior to this, he worked in the investment company Alfa Capital. Alexander graduated from the Moscow Energy Institute in 1980 and received his doctorate in Technical Sciences in 1995.

Vadim Uzberg


joined Baring Vostok Capital Partners in 2005. Previously, he served as Finance Director at Eagle Venture Partners (EVP), a venture capital fund which invested on behalf of the EBRD, GIMV, RaboBank and other European investment companies in Russia and Kazakhstan. In his five years at EVP, Vadim worked as a financial analyst, investment manager and finance director. He graduated from Voronezh State University with a degree in Finance and Credit.
