Foreign investors are looking for projects
Baring Vostok Capital Partners, a company managing funds of direct investments, has been planning to invest about $ 600 million in the Russian economy for the next five years, which will increase the total of its investments up to $1 billion, as co-managing partner of the company Michael Calvey has reported.
According to him the company intends to invest over $ 100 million in Russia. In 2002, its investments totaled $ 400 million.
Calvey has noted that the preferable fields of investments in Russia are enterprises producing equipment for energy companies and consumer goods. Besides, investments will be allocated to the markets of telecommunications and for the development of Russian management.
